is it already the 17th?
didn't i talk about a giveaway being
held here today?
i know, i know
but not gonna lie
summer has gotten in my way
and i've completely lost track of time
so how about we surprise you
with a giveaway in the next 2 weeks?
sound fair?
that way i don't have to feel guilty
when the next date rolls around and i'm still not ready
now that's off my chest
my sweet little LuLu (hence the blog name)
had a big girl birthday this weekend
here are a few of her
2 year old pictures
and now on to the party
i did a little dessert table
cause my baby loves her sugar
nothing too fancy or too expensive
everything was pretty much made by me
a little bit vintage a little big girlie |
waffle cones dipped in white chocolate and then sprinkles |
pink cupcakes with pretty little felt pennant flags (just glued onto toothpicks) |
white chocolate dipped pretzels with sprinkles of course |
a simple chocolate cake with a paper pennant flag on two sticks |
a banner with pictures of her and doilies held on by mini clothespins |
i wrapped a cardboard "C" in yarn and crocheted a flower (this was my favorite thing i did) |
pink lemonade of course |
and the sweet girl with her sugar table |
i hope you liked it
lots of sugar was consumed
and my baby gal probably won't remember
much of it, but that's what pictures are for!
i'm sure i'll be linking up, so check out all the parties

That's adorable Gentri! Good job with everything. Cadence looked adorable.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteMy little one just had her 2nd birthday earlier this month, too! Your little girl is adorable! I love the outfit and all of the dessert table details!
ReplyDeleteLoving the yarn-wrapped "C"! Of course I'm biased, it's my favorite letter. I made a yarn-wrapped ampersand but it was so complicated to wrap. I had to cut it up into 3 pieces & glue back together!
